AMITRAZ SOAPProduct Description: 5\% Amitraz in 120g Soap Bar
Indications: For the treament and control of generalized demodecosis, sarcoptic mange and tick infestation on dogs.
Composition: Soap base, 5\% amitraz, calamansi oil
Direction for Usage:Wash your dog well with Sentry Shampoo or Lori Herbal Maintenance Soap. Lather with Amitraz Soap throught the body. Wipe excess bubbles with a tower and leave the soap on the fur. Do not rinse for three days within the treament period. Bathe your dog in a well ventilated place where running water is available.
Contra-indications: Not advisable for use in puppies under four months of age, smaller toy breed dogs and Chihuahua.
Toxicity: Poisonous if swalloed, will irritate the eyes and skin. Amitraz contains MonoAmaseInhibitor (MOA)
Active Ingredient: Wear mask and gloves on application. If soap gets in the eyes wash it well with running water. After use, wash hand and face with soap and water. Do not smoke, eat or drink while using. If swallowed do not induce vomiting. Give a glass of water. Put in a place not reachable by children.
Precautions: Dog should be properly restrained from extraneous activities twenty four hourse before and after treatment.
PHYSICAL PROPERTIES OF AMITRAZ SOAPFor Vets familiar with the smell of Amitraz, it is evident thru the scent of this soap that it really contains Amitraz. The for is solid, color ranges from dark pink to old rose, possessing strong Amitraz odor. A 5\% solution is enough to produce an equivalent strenth of a dip solution provided that proper application is done. This MonoAmaseInibitor (MOA) based insecticide is not compatible to any alcohol based perfumes hence it can never hide the real smell of Amitraz. For Amitraz soaps claiming to posses hight amount of Amitraz, it must have a more irritating smell.
ACTION ON PARASITE AND INSECTSAmitraz attacks the Central Nervous System (CNS) of a parasite, disabling its normal functions. It is advisable to consult a veterinarian first before using this product so a better diagnosis can be done.
